Helinor Marine was established in 2012 as an OMB Group company—a joint venture between Helvig and the Brevi family. Since its founding, the main focus and applications have been in the marine industry, driven by a strong product line for LNG applications within the group.
The group’s strategy is to expand its presence within renewable energy, water, and hydropower. In 2022, the group acquired Nencini, a company with over 50 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing engineered valves and equipment solutions for the hydropower and water transmission industries. In 2023, Helinor relocated from Oslo to the west coast of Norway to further develop markets within renewable energies.
