Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves

Helinor can offer trunnion mounted ball valves following API6A and

API 6D design code from OMB brand.

Body construction can be in one-piece for top entry design for in line maintenance, in two or three pieces fully welded or bolted depending on requirements. Our ball valves can be offered with reduced bore(RB) or full bore (FB) and can have self-relieving seat with both single piston effect or double piston effect design to enhance sealing capability.

Cryogenic Solution: These Ball valves can be offered for LNG and Cryogenic services with extended bonnet (design acc. BS6364) and special seat insert with LIP seals (single or double Lip seals sealing) to withstand temperature as low as -196°C. Drip plates is also an option to equip extension upon request.

All Cryogenic tests in liquid Nitrogen at -196°C are performed in several test benches inhouse OMB.

High Temperature Solution: We can also offer these ball valves for high temperature services in metal seat with Graphite seals and close tolerances to offset thermal expansion.

These valves can have different coatings for various temperature requirements, and all have the design appraisal by FEA for thermal expansion.
