Tripple Offset Butterfly Valves

We offer OMB metal to metal Triple Offset Butterfly Valves (TOBV) for various applications in extremely cold cryogenic temperatures to significantly high temperatures in different configurations.

Special machining of the both seat and seal to match conical shape of the disc achieve the third offset enhancing bidirectional bubble-tight shut-off. In triple offset design, the contact between the seat and the seal is only at fully closed position, therefore; it becomes the best choice for high cycling applications due to the absence of friction between seal ring and seat resulting in very low stroking torque.

Helinor has supplied thousands of these valves to several Marine Vessels for:

Fuel gas supply systems and LNGPac
Regasification and reliquidation units in FSRUs
These butterfly valves have BV type approval and have been successfully certified by other well-known marine classification societies such as DNV and LR and ABS etc.
